Job summary

Mayfield Spine Surgery Center in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Full Time PreOp/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse to join our outpatient perioperative team. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process and follows the medical plan of care, reporting to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, an unrestricted RN license in Ohio, 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU, plus BLS, ALS and PALS. Ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of Ohio.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS (ALS) and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centric perioperative care.
• Adhere to nursing process and care plans.
• Collaborate with peri-operative team under the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

The RN PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
