Job summary

Mayfield Spine Surgery Center is hiring a Full Time PreOp/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse to join our outpatient team. No weekends, no on-call, and no holidays are required. As a RN PACU, you’ll provide high-quality perioperative care, following the medical plan of care and procedures.

The role reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services, within USPI's supportive environment. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an unrestricted RN license in the state, and

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be an RN with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must have 1-3 years' PreOP/PACU experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Deliver safe, family-centered care in the perioperative setting.
• Report to the Manager of Peri-operative Services and adhere to organizational policies.

Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PreOp/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse.

PreOp/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse at Mayfield Spine Surgery Center

The RN PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
