United Surgical Partners International is hiring a full-time Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse for the Advanced Surgery Center of Tampa. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, ensure patient safety, and assist physicians in procedures. Qualifications include a nursing degree, active RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgement.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse – Advanced Surgery Center of Tampa

We are hiring a full-time Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to join the team. This position is Monday-Friday, off on weekends/holidays, and no call.

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. May assist physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
