Job summary

Point Meadows Surgery Center, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support pre‑op, PACU, and stepdown care within our orthopedic‑focused ASC.

The RN will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Requirements: Accredited RN program graduate, current FL RN license, 1 year OR/perioperative experience, BLS; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current FL RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3-5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.

Role Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care at Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

• Support patient education and post‑op instructions

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current FL RN license (unencumbered)

• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3-5 years)

• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)

• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas

• Full‑time, on‑site position (Monday-Friday)
