Choice Care Surgery Center is hiring an RN PreOp PACU to provide continuity and high-quality nursing care for patients before and after surgery.
The role offers weekday shifts with some early mornings and evenings, no holidays or weekends, and a focus on patient safety and privacy throughout the perioperative period. USPI affiliation supports a network of ambulatory surgical services.
We have 3 OR rooms, 2 Treatment rooms and 2 Cath Labs. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
