Job summary

Indiana University Health Bloomington is seeking experienced registered nurses to join the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology team. This role involves bedside nursing for complex cardiac procedures, sedation support, and vigilant patient monitoring in a high-acuity environment.

Both part-time and full-time positions offer a 60-hour biweekly schedule, with no weekends or holidays, and a $30,000 sign-on bonus available through 9/30/2026.

Qualifications

• ASN and/or BSN preferred; active Indiana RN license or NLC required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification; other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• Two years of acute care experience may substitute for formal nursing program accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care for cardiac cath lab and IR procedures.
• Support the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology team during procedures, including monitoring and patient safety.

Overview

This position is also referral eligible. Shift: Receiving and Recovery supporting Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Radiology, bedside cardiac procedures. Day shift 8a-8:30p, first week 2- 12hr shifts, second week 3- 12hr shifts, for a total of 60hrs per pay period. No weekends or holidays. Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). The Cardiac Cath Lab, equipped with 6 labs shared with EP & IR. They specialize in minimally invasive cardiac care for a wide variety of adult patients ranging in acuity. The team fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, emphasizing a strong team culture. Additionally, they actively support the patient during procedures by administering sedation and closely monitoring patients. A limited radiography license course will be provided after orientation. Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.


• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.


• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.




• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).




• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.


• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
