Baylor Surgicare Cityview is hiring a Registered Nurse Pre-Admission Testing to join a dedicated surgical team in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on coordinating nursing assessment data, initiating care plans, and collaborating with patients and families to ensure smooth preoperative processes.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited RN degree, active Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 2 years in perioperative settings. Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Registered Nurse Pre-Admission Testing at Baylor Surgicare Cityview

The Pre Admissions Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• Current in BLS, ACLS and PALS required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
