United Surgical Partners International (USPI) in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown seeks a Registered Nurse for the Post-Surgical Unit on nights. The RN plans, directs, organizes, coordinates and implements all nursing care for post-surgical patients in line with accepted standards of care.

The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with the care team, and performing Medical Screening Exams as delegated. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• 1–2 years’ RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgical or ICU preferred.
• RN current in the State of Texas.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown is a joint venture surgical hospital between Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH), United Surgical Partners International (USPI), and local physicians. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Uptown provides a wide range of medical and surgical services for to the greater North Texas area across 8 ORs, 24 private Inpatient rooms, a full-service ED. The hospital specializes in both inpatient and outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, General, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, ENT, Reconstructive Surgery, and other surgical specialties.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Uptown is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Surgical Unit (PSU) Department for a full time opportunity on nights. The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
