Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Surgical Unit (PSU) on a full-time day shift. The RN will plan, direct, coordinate and implement nursing care for post-surgical patients, ensuring the highest quality care and compliance with professional standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program and Texas RN licensure; BLS is required, ACLS preferred. 1–2 years in hospital Medical/Surgical or ICU is preferred.

Formación

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Uptown provides a wide range of medical and surgical services for to the greater North Texas area across 8 ORs, 24 private Inpatient rooms, a full-service ED. The hospital specializes in both inpatient and outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, General, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, ENT, Reconstructive Surgery, and other surgical specialties.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Uptown is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Surgical Unit (PSU) Department for a full time opportunity on the day shift. The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
