Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Saint Thomas West location in Nashville, TN. This full-time night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and the chance to work within a leading Catholic health system dedicated to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate disciplines for seamless care, follow physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning alongside the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire date; allowed by AHA or Red Cross.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date; allowed by AHA or Red Cross.
• Licensed RN with Tennessee Board of Nursing licensure or compact-state license.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
