Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team for local and travel contracts. You will ensure resident care in a clean, safe environment and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.

The role requires an active RN license in Arizona, at least 1 year hospital experience, ability to work flexible hours, proficiency with electronic charting, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• 1 year hospital experience.
• Efficient in electronic charting system.
• Current TB within a year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Finger Print Card clearance (current).
• Flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
