Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Arizona is seeking an Registered Nurse to join our staffing team for local and travel contracts. Responsibilities include caring for residents, coordinating care plans with physicians and therapists, and documenting medication administration in a compliant, safe environment.

Qualified candidates hold an active Arizona RN license, have at least 1 year of hospital experience, and are able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• 1 year hospital experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Efficient in electronic charting system.
• BL S/BLS current (required) and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
