Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care by floating to ICUs including NICU, TICU, PICU and CICU as needed.
• Manage ICU drips, medications, and pressors and monitor patient status.

Job description

Float Nurse – Intensive Care Units

Provide nursing care by floating to various ICUs, including Neonatal ICU (NICU), Trauma ICU (TICU), Pediatric ICU (PICU), and Cardiac ICU (CICU). May also be assigned to general care areas when ICU needs are minimal. Experience with servo ventilators and respiratory therapy devices is required in all ICU settings. Manage typical ICU drips, medications, and pressors.
