Job summary

Butler Hospital in Providence, RI provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.

The role includes participating in treatment planning, coordinating psychiatric and medical emergencies, and acting as Charge Nurse during shifts while ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RI nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
