Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate registered nurses to join our Pediatrics unit in the Women Services Center, attached to the Postpartum unit. This 6-10 bed unit serves children and some adults with varying acuity while offering growth and collaboration with top medical professionals.

Roles include bedside care, adherence to nursing standards, and participation in patient-centered care with benefits such as a $30,000 sign-on bonus (through 9/30/2026) and referral eligibility.

Qualifications

  • ASN or BSN and active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and other ALS certifications as required.

Job description

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026).This position is also referral eligible.


Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals.


The Pediatrics unit is in our Women Services Center, attached to the Postpartum unit. This is a 6-10 bed unit dedicated to the patient population of children and some adults. The acuity level of the children will range from low to high, however, the adults will typically have a low acuity.

Qualifications:

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.


  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.


  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.


  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).


  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.


  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
