Job summary

IU Health Ambulatory Pediatric Clinic in Indiana is seeking an RN with at least one year of experience or a new graduate to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis at the Greenbush location. You will support our Westside and Ferry clinics with a 48-hour bi-weekly, day-shift schedule, providing compassionate pediatric care.

The role emphasizes family-centered care and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, with opportunities to grow in ambulatory pediatrics at IU Health.

Qualifications

  • Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
  • Active RN license in IN or NLC.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ambulatory pediatric care to children and families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a clinic setting.
  • Maintain day-time hours and predictable schedule.

Join Indiana University Health Ambulatory Pediatric Clinic, where compassionate, family-centered care meets the strength of Indiana’s leading healthcare system. Our RNs build meaningful relationships with children and families while working in a collaborative, supportive clinic environment with predictable daytime hours and strong interdisciplinary teamwork. This part-time position is based on-site at our Greenbush location and supports our Westside and Ferry clinics one day each week, offering variety while maintaining continuity of care. Working 48 hours bi-weekly on a day shift schedule with varying days, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pediatric patients and their families while enjoying a rewarding ambulatory care setting. Qualifications:
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
