SoftPath Medical is seeking a qualified pediatric periAnesthesia nurse for a 13-week night assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The unit includes 10 pediatric perioperative beds and a 4-bed PSOU for overnight observation up to 23 hours.

Candidates must hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certs; Virginia license submission allowed if pending. Schedule features every other weekend and every other holiday, with up to 40 hours time off and a 50-mile radius travel rule.

Formación

Unit Overview

The Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit consists of 10 beds dedicated to pediatric preoperative and postoperative care, along with a 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit (PSOU). The PSOU specializes in providing postoperative care for pediatric patients who require overnight observation or an extended recovery period of up to 23 hours following surgery.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Time Off: Approval for up to 40 hours

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Licensing: Submission allowed with license pending in Virginia
