Endeavor Health’s Pediatric Unit in Evanston, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves independent nursing activities, coordinating with the care team, and supervising assistive personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an NLN-accredited nursing degree, IL licensure, BLS/CPR, and 1 year of acute or pediatric nursing experience; BSN strongly preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• 1 year acute care or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Inpatient pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Independently provide safe, effective, compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit.
• Apply nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate with healthcare team to ensure outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Unit


• Location: Evanston, IL


• Full Time: Full time, 36 hours per week


• Hours: 1500-2330 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation


• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit


• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care


• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care


• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care


• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred


• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)


• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required


• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year Pediatric Nursing experience preferred


• Unique or Preferred Skills: Inpatient Pediatric experience
