Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Pediatric Unit in Evanston, IL. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit, following the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities include guiding unlicensed personnel, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting safety and high-quality patient experiences. BSN preferred; IL RN license and BLS/CPR required; 1 year pediatric or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NLN accredited nursing program required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider (AHA) required.
• Current IL RN licensure required.
• 1 year acute care or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Inpatient pediatric experience preferred.

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1500-2330 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year Pediatric Nursing experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Inpatient Pediatric experience
