Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Unit to provide safe, compassionate care and implement the patient plan of care using the nursing process.

You will collaborate with the care team, supervise assigned nursing staff, ensure continuity of care, and contribute to safety and a positive patient experience. BSN strongly preferred; IL RN license and BLS required; 1 year pediatric or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA).
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year Pediatric Nursing experience preferred.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Inpatient Pediatric experience

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1500-2330 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What you will do:
