Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Multiple shifts available including day, night, and mid shifts. Job types include full-time, part-time, and per diem. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Candidates should have ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and preferred BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Experience in pediatric ER or pediatric care is preferred and medical equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury, or severe conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $61,470 to $130,000 /year
