Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Multiple shifts are available, including day, night, and mid shifts. Positions include full-time, part-time, and per diem options with strong benefits.

The role requires RN licensure and pediatric/ER experience is preferred. Must be comfortable with pediatric equipment and able to educate families about care plans. A supportive Magnet-recognized environment awaits.

Formación

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.
• 1+ years in pediatric or ER setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patient needs quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $61,470 to $130,000 /year
