Incredible Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Multiple shifts available (day, night, mid) with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

The role requires an RN license and ADN or higher nursing degree, with a focus on pediatric emergency care. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of pediatric/ER experience, pediatric equipment proficiency, and strong communication with families and healthcare teams.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families.
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
