Job summary

Incredible Health in Marietta, GA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown. You will monitor medium to high acuity patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians and other care teams.

Qualifications include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year in stepdown or similar settings. Shift options include day, night, and mid; full-time, part-time, and per diem are available. Benefits include health coverage, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or high acuity settings preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other staff.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and equipment use.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
