Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring Registered Nurses for the PCU/Stepdown units in the Philadelphia, PA area. The roles welcome nurses with experience in bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, cardiac drip management, DKA, high-acuity patients, post-cardiac interventions, or sheath pulls.

Shifts include day, night, and mid; positions available full-time, part-time, and per diem. Compensation ranges from $49,900 to $105,000 per year with comprehensive benefits and career development

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
