Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role requires ADN or higher and an active RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications and proficiency in EMR systems.

You will work with a team to care for medium to high-acuity patients and participate in comprehensive care planning. Responsibilities include medication administration, supervising complex treatments, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and others to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and monitors.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
