Incredible Health Hospitals in Mission Viejo, CA area are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown. Night shift positions include full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Ideal candidates have ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1 year of stepdown or high-acuity experience. BLS/ACLS, hemodynamic monitoring, and EMR proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with monitoring of vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment plans per medical orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other staff to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on acute/chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment and monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
