Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown in the Philadelphia area. The role includes monitoring medium to high acuity patients, managing IV drips, administering meds, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year in relevant settings, and BLS/ACLS. EMR proficiency and patient education are essential components of daily care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records following hospital policies.
