Job summary

Incredible Health in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown to provide care for medium to high acuity patients, including post-cardiac interventions and respiratory supports.

You will join a team offering full-time, part-time, and per diem options with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus. Experience in stepdown, neurology, or cardiac care preferred; ADN or higher and active RN license required.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year stepdown/medium-high acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and case managers for optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and device use.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per policies.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Delray Beach, FL area for the following position: Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
  

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
