Job summary

Baptist Clay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. An ASN is required, with 1-2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred. New hires are eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus. Must be licensed RN and BLS certified.

We are part of Baptist Health, serving the Jacksonville area with a commitment to quality patient care and education for patients, families, and staff. Primary location: Clay – Main Building.

Qualifications

• Education/Degree: ASN required.
• Or BA/BS degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years.
• Licenses: RN license and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families about disease and care plan.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure safe, quality care.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.

Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred. *New Hires eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus*

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health, you will:

• Cardiac Experience Preferred 1-2 years
• Telemetry Experience Hospital Experience
• Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Primary Location: Clay - Main Building
