Job summary

MedCadre seeks a RN for night shifts (3x12 hours) in a 29-bed adult stepdown/PCU. Floating to ICU/MS clusters and local candidates with 36 or 48 hour contracts are described. ACLS and BLS are required; 1 year of experience is OK.

The role includes weekend and holiday rotations, with potential for first-time travelers. Locals within 50 miles are not eligible for extensions beyond the initial contract. The job demands physical activity and continuous patient contact in a 24/7 health care setting.

Job description

Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30 Description: Locals accepted! 36 or 48 hour contracts available Local candidates will not be eligible for extensions beyond the initial contract 29 bed adult stepdown/PCU Floating required: ICU and MS cluster (ICU- patient acuity taken into consideration) every other weekend requirement ACLS, BLS required. 1 year exp OK! Will accept first time travelers! No locals within 50 miles The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.

Essential Job Functions:

• (1) the ability to work at Client’s assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement,
• (2) the ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift,
• (3) the ability to take call,
• (4) the ability to work assigned weekends,
• (5) the ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.
