Job summary

The Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent care in a busy acute care setting. You will lead and support the healthcare team while upholding Service Excellence standards and facility policies.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NV RN license, BLS, and PALS/NRP as required. Experience in acute care (1 year FT or 3 years PT) preferred; pre-employment assessments apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• BLS Certification; PALS Certification (pediatric) or NRP Certification (neonatal) as required by department.
• One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care preferred.
• Must pass any pre-employment assessment.

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
