Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver evidence-based nursing care for a defined patient population. The role supports interdisciplinary collaboration, directs care delegation, and coordinates activities across the unit to ensure safe transitions and continuous quality care.

The RN will perform assessments, develop plans, implement treatments, and evaluate outcomes within established policies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have six months of relevant nursing experience OR be an active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a specific population.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to the care team.
• Communicate with patient/family and health team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care and outcomes per policy and electronic systems.
• Adhere to ANA Code for Nurses with Interpretive Statements and organizational standards.
