Job summary

Capital Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within a comprehensive nursing team. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient care plan, with a focus on safety, pain management, and family communication.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate's degree in Nursing and be prepared to obtain required certifications (TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Registered Nurse - NJ.
• TNCC and 8 hours of Trauma-related CNE if assigned to high-acuity units.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification and 8 hours of Stroke-related CNE if assigned to relevant units.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through a team effort using the nursing process.
• Assures patient safety by executing policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management with pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures.
• Provides discharge planning to maximize patient recovery and activity.
• Communicates patient condition and care plan to patient and family.
• Plans staffing and participates in committees and performance improvement.
