Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required and active RN license.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
• TNCC and 8 hours of Trauma-related CNE within 1 year of hire for indicated units.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or obtain within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality patient care through nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management with pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures.
• Provides discharge planning to maximize patient activities post-discharge.
• Communicates patient information clearly to patient, family and care team.
• Participates in Joint Commission readiness and performance improvement activities.
