Capital Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The role emphasizes safety, pain management, and discharge planning to maximize patient outcomes.

Applicants should have an Associate's degree in nursing, NJ RN license, and BLS certification, with eligibility for additional certifications such as TNCC, NIHSS, ACLS, and PALS as required by unit assignment.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include an Associate's degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers and NJ RN license are required.
• TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale certifications, ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required or obtained within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients as part of the nursing process.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Assists with pain management and education for discharge planning.
• Performs discharge planning to enable meaningful life activities.
• Participates in performance improvement and Joint Commission readiness.
