Capital Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across units. You will work in a collaborative team, manage assessments, planning, and discharge planning, while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

The role involves active participation in performance improvement and Joint Commission readiness. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in nursing and appropriate credentials; BLS is required, with opportunities to obtain ACLS and PALS

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale certification or obtain within specified time frames.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process.
• Assures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management and discharge planning.
• Performs patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Participates in Joint Commission readiness and performance improvement activities.
