Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across age groups in a hospital setting in Beaumont, TX. The RN will supervise licensed vocational nurses and support staff, coordinate care under medical direction, and adhere to Texas Nurse Practice Act standards.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Texas RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification.
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients across age groups in the unit.
• Direct licensed vocational nurses and other nursing staff in patient care.
• Support medical staff under the direction of physicians.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel with safety considerations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and unit activities.
