Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for patients in our Texas facility. The RN will supervise licensed and non-licensed staff and support medical care under Medical Staff direction.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current Texas RN license and BLS certification required. No experience required; comprehensive benefits and matched retirement plan offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• No experience required.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification.
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients across age groups admitted to the unit.
• Direct and supervise Licensed Vocational Nurses and non-licensed personnel.
• Support medical care under the direction of the Medical Staff.
• Ensure safe patient care by documenting and coordinating interventions.
• Clarify orders and consult with licensed practitioners when needed.
