Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver exemplary nursing care across the care continuum in a day shift setting in Georgia. You will perform the full nursing process, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure care is patient-centered, culturally aware, and outcomes-driven.

The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and adherence to standards. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and hold an RN license (single state)

Qualifications

• Required minimum education as stated: Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, or a Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• Required minimum licenses: RN license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT; BLS; ACLS or equivalent.
• Required minimum experience: Minimum 2 years current experience in the specified area of practice; Epic and 3M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplary practice and outcomes in nursing care.
• Performs the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting diversity.
• Partners with patient and significant others through bedside shifts, rounds, and teaching while keeping patient goals central.
• Practice according to current clinical standards.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe care; promote interdisciplinary communication and inclusive environment.
• Engage in performance improvement and evidence-based practice; support governance.
• Plan for patient care across the care continuum; develop protocols with care managers.
• Manage resources efficiently; performs other duties as assigned.
• Comply with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
