Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population. You will coordinate with the care team, maintain patient safety, and ensure a high-quality care experience from admission to discharge.

The role requires NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation. BSN strongly preferred or to be obtained within three years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong accountability and teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and care team regarding status and plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Medication administration using the latest clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Patient and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage care goals from admission to discharge.
