Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population, maintaining clear communication with the care team, and ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

The position requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and BSN is preferred or to be obtained within 3 years. A minimum of six months nursing experience or active participation in the Nurse Residency Program is required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Must learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and deliver high-quality patient care with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards for a diverse patient population.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and health-care team about status and plans.
• Strive for optimal patient and guest satisfaction per HMH standards.
• Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Provide patient and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary to manage the care plan from admission to discharge.
