Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized plans.

Responsibilities include using SBAR for handoffs, documenting care in the EMR, and participating in ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN demonstrates age- and culturally appropriate patient care.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Compliance with ANA ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• - Assess holistic patient needs and provide data for care planning.
• - Prioritize and coordinate care with physicians and the team using SBAR.
• - Implement orders and educate patients and families.
• - Continuously evaluate care and adjust plans as needed.
• - Document care accurately in the EMR and ensure handoffs are complete.
• - Participate in leadership activities and professional development.
