Qualifications

• RN demonstrates knowledge across biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences.
• Licensure as an Ohio RN and BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas; ongoing competency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide age- and culturally specific patient care and education.
• Communicate with physician, charge RN and health team using SBAR and handoff.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care; participate in discharge planning.
