Job summary

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN within 5 years of hire is encouraged for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Provide age- and culturally appropriate nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Use SBAR for handoff and communicate with the health care team.
• Initiate discharge planning and make referrals when appropriate.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and maintain a safe environment.
