Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.

• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork, and commitment to delivering high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and the health care team regarding status and treatment plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient satisfaction and care experience per HMH standards.
• Medication administration utilizing the latest documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Patient and family centered care to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in managing the plan of care from admission to discharge.
