Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months or more of nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Commitment to learning quickly, adaptability to changing patient needs, strong teamwork, accountability, and focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practice, policies and standards of care for diverse patient populations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other health care team members.
• Ensure optimal patient and family satisfaction and care experience.
• Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary to manage the plan of care from admission to discharge for safe transitions.
