Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team on the Day shift in the United States of America. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supporting a positive patient experience and maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities include care coordination, documentation, and collaboration with the care team, with emphasis on quality outcomes and governance participation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license (in-state or compact) required upon hire; active licensure.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: monitor, assess, and contribute to care plans while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: address patient concerns, educate patients and families, and ensure confidentiality.
• Performance Improvement: support initiatives to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
• Professional Leadership: mentor peers, uphold professional standards, and assist with recruitment and onboarding.
