Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift to join the patient care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining a supportive environment and advocating for patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include care coordination, adherence to hospital policies, documenting patient status, and contributing to performance improvement efforts. Requires current RN license and BLS certification, with preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• All nursing licenses and certifications required at hire.
• BLS certification required; RN licensure in-state or multi-state compact (Compact RN)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with the patient care team.
• Deliver safe and effective care according to hospital policies.
• Provide patient and family education; advocate for patient satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation of patient condition and care provided; support performance improvement.
