Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a dedicated registered nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care on the night shift, using the nursing process to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate with inter-professional teams, contribute to safety and quality initiatives, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning while honoring each patient’s cultural beliefs and values in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with BSN preferred or equivalent.
• Current PA RN license with no active disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams for patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and discharge plans.
• Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality-improvement activities.
